| minimum amount for dispatch | VENORUTON gel : the active substance of Venoruton preparation - oxerutin - has an effect on the smallest vessels (capillaries) so that it decreases leak of water and other substances through their walls. In patients with varicose veins and with some other diseases of lower limb veins, strong leak of substances through the capillary walls occurs, which leads to ankle oedemas. By its effects, Venoruton reduces these oedemas and the symptoms occurring along, such as the feeling of painful, tired and heavy legs, convulsions etc. The patients with the mentioned problems usually use also elastic support (usually stockings). In such cases the beneficial co-effect of Venoruton has also been proved. Reduction of penetration of plasma, proteins and water into the interstitial tissue surrounding the vessels prevents swelling and reduces already existing swelling. The preparation relieves swelling, facilitates the absorption of exudate in the swollen area. Has a mild anti-inflammatory effect and improves blood circulation through the damaged tissue. |
