| minimum amount for dispatch | Septolete D lozenges contain benzalconium chloride, which has an antiseptic effect, i.e. it destroys many kinds of bacteria and some kinds of yeast. Menthol and mint oil relieve pain and unpleasant feelings as burning pain in the throat and pain during swallowing. Thymol has similar effects as benzalconium chloride. It also has an antiseptic effect, thus boosts the effect of benzalconium chloride. Eucalyptus oil reduces the amount of phlegm in the upper airways and relieves breathing difficulties. Septolete D lozenges have a direct effect on microorganisms causing mouth and pharyngeal diseases. They prevent the spread of infection and effectively relieve difficulties connected with mouth and pharyngeal diseases. Septolete D contains mannite and maltitol that contribute to a pleasant flavour of the lozenges. Lozenges do not contain sugar that oral cavity bacteria need for their growth, thus do not cause caries. |
