| minimum amount for dispatch | Neoseptolete lemon lozenges are effective against pathogens. They contain an active substance cetylpyridinium-chloride with a disinfecting effect, which kills a whole range of bacteria and fungal germs, and to a certain extent, it also inhibits the growth of viruses. Lozenges disinfect the oral cavity and throat and thus reduce inflammation in these areas; above all, they prevent development of more serious bacterial inflammations. Owing to its good tolerance and low surface tension, the active substance cetylpyridinium-chloride penetrates also through the tissues of the mouth and throat that are hard to reach, where it inhibits bacterial growth. Neoseptolete lozenges have a lemon flavour. They do not contain sugar, therefore, they do not damage teeth. The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 8 lozenges daily. Dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2 or 3 hours. Children over 4 years of age should take up to 4 lozenges daily, children from 10 to 12 years of age up to 6 lozenges daily. Dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 3 or 4 hours. Do not take lozenges before or during meal. |
