| minimum amount for dispatch | NEOSEPTOLETE anaesthetic lozenges : the lozenges have an effect as a local anaesthetic (they moderate pain locally) and have an antimicrobial effect (they kill some microorganisms). The lozenges contain antiseptic cetylpyridiniumchloride, which kills some kinds of bacteria and yeasts and also prevents virus propagation in certain extent. Thus they moderate inflammations of the oral cavity and pharynx and prevent development of more severe inflammations caused by bacteria. Because cetylpyridiniumchloride is well-dissolvable and has small surface tension, it penetrates easily into those parts of the pharyngeal mucous membrane which are worse accessible and prevents bacteria growth. Benzocaine is a local anaesthetic suitable for moderating pain in swallowing, which accompanies infection and inflammations of the oral cavity and pharynx. The lozenges contain the polyols maltitol and mannitol. They do not contain sugar which bacteria need for their growth. Neoseptolete lozenges with the anaesthetic effect are suitable for diabetics, they do not cause dental carries, and thanks to the composition without sugar they have a larger antiseptic effect. |
