| Description | MENOFLAVON : Climacterium starts around the 45th year of life. It is characterized by various changes of physical functions and unpleasant symptoms (hot flushes, sweating, moodiness, headache, loss of menstruation, bone thinning, etc.). In this period it is necessary to care more about good health and physical and mental equanimity. The isoflavones contained in the preparation (formononetin, daidzein, biochanin A and genistein) support not only the woman's well-being, but they also have a positive influence on metabolism of substances supporting the bone structure. Isoflavones are substances similar to estrogens (female sex hormones). In the nature they are especially in soya and scarlet clover, whereas the same amount of the scarlet clover shows twice as higher efficiency than the same amount of soya. The scarlet clover contains 4 isoflavones on the contrary of less efficient soya which contains only two isoflavones. The efficacy of isoflavonoids from the scarlet clover extract on decreasing the cholesterol level, osteoporosis prevention and prevention of some kinds of cancer (especially breast cancer) have been proved. Recommended dosage: 2 capsules a day (preferably in the morning and in the evening, during a meal). |
