| Description | Megafyt tea ST. JOHN'S WORT top - leaves : Pour 1/4 l of boiling water over 1 teaspoonful and leave it for 5 - 10 minutes in a covered dish to infuse. It must not be boiled. Drink the warm infusion 2 - 3 times a day. Prepare it always fresh, right before use. Caution: the tae must be applied for at least 10 - 14 days in order to reach the desired effect. If the effect does not appear within 6 weeks, the treatment should be terminated. In hypersensitive people it can cause allergic reactions if administered in higher doses (photosensibilization). Adverse effects: the preparation can have an influence on the effects of some drugs for sedation and in depressions administered at the same time. It can decrease the effects of indinavirus and other retroviral preparations used for HIV positive patients' treatment. |
