| Description | Megafyt tea SAGE (SALVIA). Use: Internally: it decreases sweat secretion in excessive sweating; supportive remedy in slight gallbladder and biliary tract diseases; it relaxes smooth muscles spasms and supports bile secretion. Externally: supportive remedy in oral cavity and pharynx inflammations (gargle) and in moderate inflammatory skin diseases (poultice, bath); it has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory and constringent effect. Caution: During pregnancy drinking sage tea is not suitable. Dosage and administration: Internally: Pour 1/4 l of boiling water over 1 infusion bag and leave it for 5 - 10 minutes in a covered dish to infuse. It must not be boiled. Drink the warm infusion 2 - 3 times a day. Prepare it always fresh, right before use. Externally: Pour 1/4 l of boiling water over 2 infusion bags and leave them for 15 minutes in a covered dish to infuse. It must not be boiled. The warm infusion can be used for gargling, bathing and as a poultice several times a day. Prepare it always fresh, right before use. |
