| Description | GS Geriastim is for persons exposed to stress and increased physical strain, for persons recovering from an illness, for older and ill persons. GS Geriastim stimulates brain function, alleviates tiredness and the feeling of exhaustion, improves performance in physical strain, influences stress and the ability to concentrate, it is also effective against aging of the body. Individual components have the following effects: Vitamin A is necessary for production of eye pigment and for a healthy functioning of the skin and mucosas. Group B vitamins and trace elements are necessary in metabolic processes. Vitamin B1 takes part in sugar metabolism, it is important for the function of nerve and muscle cells, because it takes part in air transfer. Vitamin B2 is necessary in utilization of oxygen in the cells. Vitamin B6 is necessary for lipid production and influences the function of nerve cells. Pantothenic acid influences metabolism in the skin and mucosas, speeds up healing of wounds and burns. Niacin is important for metabolism of lipids and sugars and also influences the nervous system activity. Vitamin C is necessary for healthy development of ligament tissue and favourably influences the immune system. Vitamin D is necessary for the right utilization of calcium. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant. Iron with vitamins B12, C and folic acid take part if the process of blood formation. Calcium is responsible for a healthy development of bones and prevents osteoporosis in women during and after menopause. Rutin strengthens vessel walls and is effective against varicose veins. Deanol stimulates brain function and is effective against aging of the body. Ginseng improves vitality, reduces the influence of stress factors and improves performance in physical strain.
