| minimum amount for dispatch | Dobexil H sup is a preparation for local use which contains a mixture of substances suppressing the symptoms of haemorrhoidal and other rectal diseases. Calcium dobesilate conditions the damaged function of the haemorrhoidal vein walls, inhibits their increased permeability, increases their resistance and decreases oedema formation. Lidocaine desensitize the mucous tissue and skin, and thus it reduces itching and pain. The oily character of the suppository base, forming the suppository mass, also has a beneficial effect on the affected sites; this oily suppository base protects the mucous tissue from mechanical and chemical irritation. |
