| minimum amount for dispatch | Advantix : The preparation is for dogs from 1.5 kg to 4 kg of body weight. It is used for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations. Fleas on dogs are killed within one day following application. One application protects against flea infestation for the following 4 weeks. The preparation can be used as a part of the treatment strategy of flea allergic dermatitis (FAD). The preparation has persistent acaricidal and repellent effects against tick infestation for 3-4 weeks. Ticks present on a dog already during application might not be killed within 2 days after treatment and can stay attached to the skin and can be visible. For this reason it is recommended to remove ticks already during application, in order to prevent them to attach to the skin and suck blood. Single application provides repellent activity against phlebotoms for 2-3 weeks.
